課程概述

An introductory course of European society and culture from the early Nineteenth-Century to the 1930s. Readings and seminars are based on classical texts of the period. Students should achieve very good command of oral communication, as well as well-written essays.

課程目標

- 透過深入的英文歷史學著作與文獻,培養閱讀能力.
- 分析文獻與史學觀點
- 養成學生公開討論與提問的學習方法
- 課堂報告與書面報告需兼具必要的形式與內容
